Most conversations are soon forgotten. I have a hard time remembering what my wife told me at breakfast later that same day, so it’s a miracle if I remember a conversation several days afterwards.

Despite our short term memory when it comes to conversations, there are rare instances in life when a conversation is so meaningful and impactful that you know instantly that it will never be forgotten. I recently had a memorable encounter with author Digger Cartwright about an unforgettable conversation that turned into his latest book, Conversations on the Bench.
